The Story of Martin Guigui's Angel

Hi, My name is Robin Littlefield and I loaned by childhood friend the funds to complete his career groundbreaking film: My Xgirlfriend's Wedding Reception. He said this was his dream. He said I was his angel.

Today the total he owes me is nearly $1M including interest. He promised to pay me back yet he is not. After asking for over 10 years, even offering him to hire me as a producer on all his films as a way of paying me back, he would not pay me. Finally we had to go to court. The court gave us 3 years to figure it out. Still he made no offers of any money. The lawsuit proceeded and I won a judgement for a partial amount. A partial amount due to some of the loans to him having been written with incorrect interest rates and to the movie itself, so the judge had to remove these amounts from the lawsuit, though they are still owed me.

I am not sure why he is not paying me back.

This film was the basement of his entire career. His first film. It had great actors: the late Dom DeLuise, Debbie Gibson, Bernie Sanders, Mo Gaffney, plus many local Vermonters!

In 1998 I loaned him my personal money that he said would be only temporary, for 2 years. I had planned on using for a future home but at the time was not ready.

I still do not have the money, and I would like to establish a home now.

It has been over 20 years - nearly every year he said he would pay me. Now also there is a legal judgement that says he must pay me.
